The Fishing Village RV and Tent Park is located just south of the Campbell River city centre. The park has 45 fully-equipped sites with views of the Discovery Passage. Little Rock RV Park is 4km from downtown Campbell River on Hwy 19A, overlooking Discovery Passage. Adjacent to boat launch and boat rentals and sea walk. Watch the cruise ships sail by or see the eagles. Open year round.
This popular wildlife-rich provincial park has 122 vehicle accessible campsites. Some border the river while others are set in forest area. The park offers a network of hiking trails, salmon hatchery and fishing, and an impressive waterfall. Close by to the camping area is a picnic area with easy trails to the waterfall.
Shelter Bay Resort provides 55 fully-serviced RV sites and some tenting sites in a park-like setting on the shores of the Straight of Georgia. Guests can fish for salmon in this world famous salmon spot, go whale-watching, play golf, relax on Fisherman's Wharf or visit the many First Nation artisan boutiques nearby. The campsite offers free wireless Internet and free cable TV. RV sites are $25-$30/night, tent sites are $20/night. Weekly and monthly rates are also available.
Located at the gateway to Nootka Sound, this beachside campground has 31 camping and RV sites. Fabulous fishing opportunities are just outside the tent door, and the marina offers kayak rentals and boat charter services.
Located in the oldest provincial park in British Columbia, Buttle Lake Campground offers 85 vehicle accessible sites nestled in a Douglas fir forest, and some on the lake shore. The site has drinking water hand pumps and pit toilets. There is also a wheelchair accessible group campsite, Driftwood Bay, located next to the lake.
Morton Lake Provincial Park provides campsites beside the lake, 74 hectares of land, great fishing and a sandy beach. While the campground is open all year, services may not be available in the winter season. Full services should be available from about May 15th to October 15th.
This facility has 31 campsites and 2 group sites on 30 hectares. The fishing at Campbell Lake is renowned, and windsurfing and waterskiing are popular activities. While there are opportunities for swimming, there is no designated area.
Ripple Rock is a full feature RV Park located at Brown's Bay, just a few minutes north of Campbell River. Their 60 concrete RV pads offer 30 and 50 amp plug-ins as well as hookups for telephone, 12 channel TV, water and sewer. Leisure facilities include a spacious, fully furnished recreation building, an indoor hot tub, a fishing pier, shuffleboards and a smokehouse.
